“Throughout GRAMMY Weekend 2026, UMG continued to set the tone for how large-scale cultural moments can be produced with intention, creativity, and accountability. Sustainability was thoughtfully integrated into every phase of planning and execution, from design and fabrication to materials and operations. A design-forward approach centered on upcycling, reuse, and thoughtful construction transformed everyday and discarded materials into sculptural bars, stages, lighting, and décor designed to live beyond the event itself. Rentals were prioritized over new builds, natural elements were used selectively, and technology replaced physical fabrication where possible. Small but meaningful operational choices—such as rechargeable batteries, water refill stations, and composting programs—collectively made a measurable impact, reinforcing UMG’s commitment to creating culture responsibly at the industry’s most visible moments.”
