It may sound like a lot of work for one night—and that's because it is. "Every detail is not an accident," says Komarov, knowing very well that not every guest will realize the meticulous work that goes behind the 5a.m. photographing of the panels or the lighting trials done in a studio in Los Angeles or the customized leaf decor she has sent from Costa Rica. On top of that, because of Universal Music Group Pre-Grammy Showcase, which took place on Saturday afternoon the day prior, Komarov and her team had only slightly over twenty-four hours to install the entire set-up. But in the end, the outcome was worth the onslaught.
