Organized Matter is a Los angeles based multi-disciplinary design and production studio. We handle creative direction and full-service production from concept through installation - covering corporate events, live performance, hospitality spaces, branded environments and commercial renovations. Our sweet spot is the overlap between artful design and precise execution: we think visually and operate logistically. We can step in as your design team, your production team, or both — whatever the project calls for.
Organized Matter specializes in designing, curating, budgeting and producing the installation of temporary and permanent spaces. Whether you are a design firm in need of production assistance or a company in need of full service creative direction + production, we work with our clients to facilitate the development and fabrication of the elements necessary to complete their mission. We design and/or fabricate environments such as stages, sets, event spaces, pop-ups, and photo shoots. We offer full-service event production and project management services to complete the overall vision. Our full-service event production can handle all logistics and design elements of an event or production.
Our design team can facilitate the creative direction and art direction necessary to complete your vision. We facilitate our client’s needs ranging from simple brainstorm sessions, and expanding their creative process, to full-scale conceptual drawings and implementation with our production team.
O.M. Studio is the collaborative practice of artists Krislyn Komarov and James Benn. Founded in Los Angeles in 2020, the studio emerged from a private ritual — two artists, a sanctuary of materials, and a world they built together from the inside out.
Working in gypsum, concrete, cast fiberglass, steel, and alchemized matter, Komarov and Benn make objects that resist easy classification. Sculptures that hold light. Forms that carry weight. Studies in material behavior.
